RIWA is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to provide a supportive social, recreational and educational network for its members. Social group for 21+ members.
TGI Network of Rhode Island is the only statewide organization providing support and advocacy for the TGI community in Rhode Island and surrounding areas. Includes reference materials, links for support groups, health initiatives, advocacy, etc.
A good resource for men's health as it specifically deals with gay men
Youth Pride Inc. (YPI) is an affirming space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning young people to build community, develop connections and be themselves.
The mission of SAGE /RI is to serve as a leader in identifying, addressing and bringing attention to issues related to aging among members of the LGBT community; to partner with constituents, allies and other stakeholders to create a culture in which older LGBT members of the community can enjoy a high quality of life; to support aging members of the community and advocate for their rights; to foster a greater understanding of LGBT aging; and to promote positive images of LGBT life in later years.
